International Youth day by Climate Strike at Kastura Ghat, Thana Road, Cox’s Bazar.(1.3)
SADA made ‘International Youth Day’ by Youth led climate strike at Kastura Ghat(Thana Road), Cox’s Bazar on 12/08/2022.
through a climate blockade program in the presence of youth “Activistas” of Cox’s Bazar, keeping social distance and maintaining social distance at Kastura Ghat Embankment, Badarmokam Road, Cox’s Bazar Sadar. This Youth Day is celebrated as part of the 2-month Climate Strike Campaign with the participation of youth ‘Activistas’ from Cox’s Bazar, a joint initiative of Social Association for Development Alternative – (SADA) and Global Platform Bangladesh.
This climate strike was demonstrated to raise awareness among the people of coastal areas regarding climate change and its impact on the coastal areas. The theme of this strike was YOUNG PEOPLE FOR CLIMATE ACTION NOW”. More than 30 Activista and villagers participated in that strike from Cox’s Bazar.
SADA
