“ART WORKSHOP ON CLIMATE ACTION”

On 12/10/2022 “ART WORKSHOP ON CLIMATE ACTION” was held at Kabita Chattar near the sea beach of Cox’s Bazar city.

The art workshop was jointly organized by Social Association for Development Alternative – SADA and Jibangothon Unnayan Sangstha.

The session of ‘Art Workshop on Climate Action’ started at 09:00 am and ended at 01:00 pm, and in the 4-hour art workshop, the young activists of Cox’s Bazar expressed the adverse effects of climate change in the coastal region, their demands and thoughts to protect the environment through colors.

The participants of the art workshop also painted some slogans and pictures on several art papers.

Notable among which,

1. Do not throw any kind of garbage into the sea.

2. Reduce the use of plastic.

3. Do not harm marine biodiversity.

4. We will encourage eco-friendly tourists.

Shahrukh Karim, PR and Communication Manager of SADA Chattogram team and young activists of SADA Cox’s Bazar team were present in the Art Workshop.

In order to protect the environment, everyone’s awareness and own initiative to protect the environment, not to damage the environment, not to destroy wild animals, forests and to ensure climate justice for the victims of climate change is very important. These signs will be used by SADA and Jibangothon Unnayan Sangstha for public awareness campaigns. White has long been working to ensure climate justice.

SADA believes that painting and art therapy are powerful tools to create awareness among the younger generation. In this way, the general population will be involved through creative activities, climate strikes and non-violent movements. In continuation of this, this ‘Art Workshop on Climate Action’ was organized.
